Please note that we need volunteers to Register as soon as possible to give the Food Pantry time to collect copies of vaccination records before this ser vice event. Brookline Thrives is a project of the Brookline Food Pantry t o provide food for the weekend for children at risk of food insecurity\, to keep them fueled for success in school. Volunteers pack the bags\, whi ch are distributed through the schools and the Brookline Housing Authorit y properties. What is in a Thrives bag? Each Thrives bag contains two br eakfast items\, two lunch items\, milk\, fruit and snacks. One bag feeds one child. Thrives has a rotating menu\, providing a little variety each week. Everything is shelf-stable\, single-serve portions. Nothing needs t o be refrigerated.
