The last of four Summer Fun events will be held Tuesday afternoon, August 31, at the Egmont Street apartments of the Brookline Housing Authority.

Last Thursday, August 26, this great team assembled to participate in the BHA Community Day.  Nearly 200 people attended.  We distributed books to more than 45 children -- beautiful new hard-back books funded by Chobee Hoy Group/Compass and sourced by Brookline Booksmith and the Children's Book Store in Brookline Village.  On Tuesday, Eureka On the Spot Entertainment, a division of Eureka Puzzles, will join us at another book distribution, bringing giant games and puzzles to entertain and stretch the mind.  Summer Fun is a project co-funded by Chobee Hoy, Compass, and Brookline Rotary, with some matching funds from Rotary District 7910.  Brookline Police Community Service has provided tents, personnel, ice cream and cool drinks to add to the fun.
