‘Tis the season!

giftLike most of our traditions, we need to adapt our “usual” holiday activities to the times.  This year instead of our customary holiday exchange we are asking each member to give a gift to one of our partner organizations who are set to serve low income families at this time of year.

Some of our past traditions have been adopting local families in need, providing toys and outerwear for kids.  This year, we hope to do the same but without Rotary serving as the middle man.  We are asking each of our members to use the money we normally spend on Rotary lunches and “Yankee Swap” and, individually and on your own, select one of our community partners to gift this holiday season.  Below is the list of local organizations we have connected with in the past and their needs.  The needs are great.  Please select one (or more) and make the gift.  If possible, please remember to shop at our local businesses when buying your holiday gifts!  I know that everyone has already been extremely generous.  This is who we are:  Service Above Self.  Thank you and Happy Holidays!
