District 7910 Foundation Dinner

Club President, Susan Rack and Foundation Co-chair, Arnie Miller, attended the District Foundation Dinner on November 4, 2015, where the Club was recognized for giving $284, 000 last year in donations and matching grants to help solve worthy local and international issues. 
Ralph Hammond, Susan Rack, Roy BalfourThe Brookline club participated on a panel where Susan explained about Brookline's 2014 District Grant, "Raising Rookies for Renegades."  This was a grant to the Association of Blind Citizens to provide safety equipment for new recruits to the New England Renegades, New England's only Beep Ball Baseball team, competitive baseball for blind adults.  This project qualified as a District Grant, with District 7910 contributing $1500. The Renegades were able to add four new players, and finished 9th in the country in last year's World Series.
