The Brookline Robotics Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding STEM education through robotics across Brookline and the Greater Boston Area. Our mission focuses on three core objectives: supporting four high school FTC teams, promoting robotics as a gateway to STEM for students of all backgrounds, and providing career-building opportunities from high school through students' first jobs.
Since our founding, we've grown from 1 FTC team and 1 FLL team serving 30 students to 4 FTC teams and 30+ FLL teams reaching over 2,700 students. We host large-scale community events including FTC Qualifiers (1,000+ participants), FLL Scrimmages (15+ teams), and an annual FLL Explore Festival (30+ teams). Our summer camp partnerships with Penguin Coding School and RoboHub have engaged 250+ students.
Through partnerships with the Brookline Teen Center, Brookline High School, and generous sponsors, we've raised over $21,000 this season to provide free robotics programs, camps, and workshops. We're building pathways for students to develop technical skills while creating a sustainable, inclusive STEM community in Brookline
