In spite of yet another snowstorm, the 21st annual Rotary Pancake Breakfast was a wonderful event!  Nearly 1000 people joined us for breakfast.  Chairman Carrie Carrizosa did a marvelous job of organizing and coordinating and more than 30 Rotarian came to join the fun and contribute their efforts and creativity to the event.

Sharon Herma and Carrie CarrizosaWe are grateful to the many vendors who contributed food and came to serve.  Featured for the 15th consecutive year was Starbucks, who served coffee throughout.  Live music was provided as ever by the Winiker Band, and by the First Corps Cadet Armory Band.  The Winikers had people dancing in the aisles, specially inspired by five guest vocalists.  See our photo album on Facebook and be sure to LIKE our page there!

The 2014 Ad Book looks great.  Thanks to chairman Ira Hirsch and to all who recruited ads for the book.  Look for the impressive list of sponsors on the website and at the end of your Bulletin.

Volunteers from Steps to Success and our Rotaract Club at Boston University helped to serve.  Dr. Karen Jacobs, Harry Robinson, and U.S. Attorney John Capin cooked up thousands of pancakes.

Special thanks to Michael Simonds for so many memorable photographs, and to the Brookline TAB for its wonderful coverage of the event.

And most of all, THANK YOU to all the club members who came, wore aprons, contributed their help as needed throughout the day, and together made it a marvelous day.  GREAT TEAM!
